The McLaren F1 was legal road the world's fastest automobiles, keeping the record from 1994 to 2005; the record for the longest period was in possession of all roads of law or automobile production in 'history of the automobile. History and concept
Chief Engineer Gordon Murray's Design Concept was one of Commons on designing high-performance cars: low weight and high performance. This was achieved by the use of high technology and expensive materials like carbon fiber, titanium, gold and magnesium. The F1 was an early production car for the use of carbon fiber monologue chassis.
